Olympia Youth Outreach Committee

Join us as we explore opportunities to bring outdoor experiences to youth through outdoor youth activities and family programs.

Our Olympia Branch allows youth to learn from highly skilled volunteer educators to bring the deepest and most personalized experience available.

Outdoor skills, Hikes, & activities

Our wilderness adventures are scheduled throughout the year and are led by experience Mountaineers.  The focus is to have fun and engaging activities for kids such as hiking, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, razor clamming,  orienteering, berry picking, boating and more. We also have exciting classes for the family that teach Family Essentials and encourage a connection with the outdoors and participate in several stewardship outreach activities that offer families an opportunity to serve.

MAC students meet once a month locally to work on skills, and plan at least one weekend outing each month.
