Olympia Hiking & Backpacking Committee

Olympia Hiking & Backpacking Committee

The Hiking and Backpacking Committee offers hikes year-round and backpacks during the warmer months. Enjoy day hikes or extended trips in the wilderness. We offer the Conditioning Hiking Series Course, Backpacking Course, Family Hikes, Day Hikes, and Backpacking trips.

Hikes are scheduled year-round. Mid-week outings are also offered. Hikes are all led by our volunteer leaders, most of whom have years of experience exploring Washington's backcountry. Hikes of all difficulties are led through the Olympia branch and we require the 10 essentials on all day hikes.
