Meeting place will be determined with participants by email.
We will hike deep into the heart of the old-growth forest in Point Defiance Park, where we may see park wildlife. We will begin our adventure at Owen Beach, hike out to the Gig Harbor Viewpoint, visit the giant Mountaineers Tree and return to our starting point. An optional visit to Point Defiance Zoo can also be included in the trip. Be sure to bring a lunch, appropriate clothing for the weather, and the 10 essentials.
