Summer Camps

Summer Camps

Campers are invited to join The Mountaineers for fun-filled adventures packed with traditional summer camp games, songs, and a heavy dose of outdoor activities. Day camps take place in Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, and Bremerton. Overnight adventure camps will explore Mount Rainier, Mount Erie, Mount Baker, the Cascades, and the Olympics.

ALL SUMMER CAMPS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN COMPLIANCE WITH WASHINGTON STATE AND THE MOUNTAINEERS COVID-19 OPERATING GUIDANCE. WE ARE MONITORING THE PROCESS OF REOPENING CLOSELY AND WILL CONTINUE TO SHARE UPDATES AND CHANGES AS THEY OCCUR. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE REVIEW THE MOUNTAINEERS COVID-19 RESPONSE PAGE.

KITSAP FOREST ADVENTURE CAMPS

Join us at the Kitsap Forest Theater in Bremerton for a week of fun, learning, and exploration. The Kitsap Forest Adventure Camp is open to kids in grades K–4 (ages 5–10).

Registration for the upcoming camp season will begin in February 2023. More information coming soon.

OLYMPIA MOUNTAINEERS CAMPS

Spend time this summer with The Mountaineers in Olympia. We offer three different styles of summer camps—Mini Mountaineers Camps are for youth ages 6–8, Day Camps are for youth ages 8–12, Overnight Camps are for youth ages 10–15, and Teen Overnight Camps for youth ages 13-17. These experience-based camps offer youth a chance to learn a variety of outdoor skills and spend time outside with new friends. 

Registration for the upcoming camp season will open on February 1, 2023.

SEATTLE  MOUNTAINEERS CAMPS

Join us for a week of adventure and discovery. We offer week-long day camps from June 21–August 20 at the Seattle Program Center, and overnight camps from June 28–August 12. Day camps are designed for campers ages 6–12 and overnight camps for campers ages 10–14. This year we're also offering overnight trips for teens ages 14-17 who have aged out of summer camp. 

The Seattle Day Camp Registration Lottery  will open for enrollment in January 2023.  More information coming soon.

TACOMA  MOUNTAINEERS CAMPS

Join the Tacoma Mountaineers for a week of fun, learning, and exploration. This summer we are offering six weeks of day camp based out of our Tacoma Program Center, and two weeks of overnight camps at our property on the Carbon River on the edge of Mt. Rainier National Park, and three weeks of teen adventure camps. Day camps are open to kids age 6–13, and overnight camps are open to kids age 8–14, and teen adventure camps are open to kids age 13-17.

Registration for the upcoming camp season will open on February 1, 2023.

Scholarships 

Scholarships are available for youth courses. We recommend applying for a scholarship at least two weeks before you plan on enrolling  in camp.
