Low tide (-0.05) is at 12:23, so we will be able to walk the sandbar out to McMicken Island before then. Low tide usually means that geoducks will be spurting and moonsnails and collars will be visible, along with other marine animals. Sunscreen and extra shoes or beach wear should be carried for children, as they’ll get wet on the low tide. Also be sure to have all 10 essentials.
Meeting time and place(s) will be arranged with participants.
