A membership with The Mountaineers opens a world of self-discovery, exploration, learning, and conservation through outdoor adventure. How it works

1. Choose a membership type

   A 20% discount will be applied in your cart. You can continue shopping or add more gift memberships. Gift memberships are valid for new members. 

2. Select a Recipient

   At checkout, you'll be prompted to provide the name and contact information for your recipient. Note that gift memberships are valid for new members only and cannot be used for renewals.

3. Choose a delivery option

   Email. They will receive an activation code on the day you select.
   Mail to them or to yourself. We mail gift memberships every Monday. 
   In-store pickup. Your packet will be ready one business day after your order at our Seattle bookstore. Staff can provide personalized recommendations if you'd like to pick up a book to pair with your gift membership! Please visit our bookstore page for location and hours.
