Alpine Scrambling Course

Alpine Scrambling fills the gap between on-trail hiking and roped climbing. The Alpine Scrambling course teaches the skills needed to venture off-trail on snow and rock to reach non-technical alpine summits. Scrambling may at times involve unroped movement on and across low or moderately exposed snow and rock terrain but does not include roped climbing.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE:

• Student Registration Opens: Dec 1st
• Cancellation: Refund less $10 before Feb 15th
  • No Refund after Feb 15th
• Note that prior to Feb 1st, 2024, to maintain your spot in the course, you will need to complete an online lecture on the course expectations. This is for your sake to ensure you are made aware of these while you still have the opportunity to cancel. 
• Note that you will not be able to register for field trips upon course registration. This is deliberate and will be worked out before the course begins.
