No matter how experienced a climber you are, one day, you will find yourself in a precarious situation. Whether that be a stuck rope, a dropped rappel device, ropes that won't reach the next rappel, an injured leader, or any number of problematic situations. During our 2.5-hour clinic and slideshow presentation, we will review the author's experiences in real-world situations using a number of the techniques described in the book. During the clinic portion of the evening, we will cover belay escapes, hauling, improvised rappels, lowers, the reepschnur rappel, and, if we have time, a counterbalanced rappel.
