The Seattle Basic Refresher Clinics offer Basic Alpine Climbing graduates, and non-Mountaineer members with equivalent training and experience, the opportunity to review the skills and techniques they learned in the course. Cost per clinic: $0

This Seattle Basic Refresher Clinic - Alpine Rock Skills - covers the alpine rock climbing skills.
Skills to be practiced:
- Rock climbing (including face climbing, crack climbing, and friction climbing, depending on the climbing area).
- Belaying (top-rope and lead-climbing)
- Rappelling
- Anchor building
NOTE: Time and Place are tentative.
IF HEAT (> 82 deg) is forecasted, clinic will be rescheduled.
Meet at 9:30 am at Snow Creek Parking Area.
We shall then drive up the Icicle Creek Road to the access trail.
Probable climbing area is "Swanson's Garden" (historical name), below Clamshell.
