Community Family Hike with Capital Land Trust

Mountaineers will collaborate with Capital Land Trust to teach hiking skills at one of the Capital Land Trust preserves.

Help teach kids and their families how to hike with success and safety.  We will have a booth to orient families to good hiking practices and then equip them with maps of the facility and hike them down to the water, teaching them how to use a map, Leave No Trace, explore nature, and use a tide table.
