This clinic is designed for graduates of the Staying Found course interested in practicing their navigation skills. We will gather at the picnic tables at the Million Dollar View, then break into 2 groups. Each group will design their own 3-5-mile route. Each group will follow that route, and everyone will have a chance to lead a different section of the trail. Don't worry if you're rusty or still struggling to understand the concepts - that's what this hike is for.

We will meet at 12:30. Please eat lunch in advance. There will be time to stop for a snack on the trail.

MAP: We will use the Cougar Mountain map from King County.

WEATHER: If the forecast calls for significant rain, this event will be canceled or rescheduled.

HOMEWORK: (1) Find the Harvey Manning Trailhead Parking Lot on Gaia. Set a waypoint.  Get driving directions through Gaia and follow them to the parking lot.  Note that if you try to find the parking lot through Google Maps, you may end up somewhere else!  (2) Study the map.

We will meet at the Harvey Manning Trailhead on Cougar Mountain at 12:30.  No parking pass is required.
