Cougar Mountain: Harvey Manning Trailhead

Home to the Cougar Mountain Park's maintenance office, this trailhead provides access to may loop hikes of varying mileage, elevation gain, and difficult throughout the park, mostly in the northeast corner.

getting there

from I-90

Take Exit 13 of of I-90 onto Lakemont Blvd SE. After crossing "The Pass," turn left onto SE Cougar Mountain Way. Continue to the Harvey Manning Trailhead (1,430 ft).

from I-405

Take Exit 10 off of I-405 onto Coal Creek Pkwy SE. Bear left onto Forest Dr SE, turn left onto Lakemont Blvd SE, and then right onto SE Cougar Mountain Way. Continue to the Harvey Manning Trailhead (1,430 ft).

 The many interconnected trails in the Cougar Mountain area provide many out-and-back and loop day hikes of varying mileage, elevation gain, and difficulty. Choose your own adventure!
