This will be a casual morning run around Golden Gardens Park & Ballard Locks! The distance is slightly over 6 miles with under 500ft of gain. The route starts near the Boat Ramp of Golden Gardens, does two loops on our way to the top (walking the stairs). We then run down a gradual incline until we reach the Ballard Locks. After doing a short loop through that park, we will return to Golden Gardens and run by the boats.
The average goal pace is 12–15 min/mi.
We will meet at 6:00am at the Golden Gardens Garden near the Boat Ramp! There is plenty of free parking around, but please do not park in the trailer spots closest to the road as you will get a hefty ticket (from personal experience :) .
There are restrooms around the park if needed!
