We will follow a series of loops of about 8.7 miles, 1300ft gain along the trails from Sky Country trail head at Cougar Mountain.
We'll aim for an average pace of 12-15 minutes per mile (hiking any long or steep uphills and jogging flats and downhills)
Meet at 5:45 pm at Sky Country trailhead ready to run. No passes required. Portable toilet available at trailhead.

Required Equipment
Please wear layers of breathable, technical clothing suitable for outdoor aerobic activities for this course's activities.
- Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses; running-specific gaiters recommended
- Warm mid-weight layer (e.g. down vest or wool long sleeve)
- Trail running shoes
- A small day pack suitable for trail running
- Bring snacks and water

- Headlamp with spare batteries
