5:30pm Winter Trail Running Conditioning Course runs from 6+ miles. You will need to complete 2 course runs per month over Dec, Jan and Feb to graduate.

We will follow a series of loops of about 8.7 miles, 1300ft gain along the trails from Sky Country trail head at Cougar Mountain. 

We'll hike any long or steep uphills and aim for a pace of 10-12 min/mile on flats and downhills.

Meet at 5:30pm at Sky Country trailhead ready to run. No passes required. Portable toilet available at trailhead.

Please wear layers of breathable, technical clothing suitable for outdoor aerobic activities for this course's activities.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses; running-specific gaiters recommended
  • Warm mid-weight layer (e.g. down vest or wool long sleeve)
