Winter Trail Running Conditioning Course runs from 4-6 miles. You will need to complete 2 course runs per month over Dec, Jan and Feb to graduate.

We will follow an out-and-back for ~5 1/2 miles total distance with 796 ft elevation gain, through Robinswood Park, Bellevue Airfield Park, and Weowna Park. There will be some road running in between parks.

  • Pace: 12–15 min/mi. Prioritizing steady movement and keeping the group together.

Meet at 5:30PM time at the Robinswood Park (north parking lot off SE 22nd Street) in Bellevue. Ready to depart by 5:35pm, following introductions, description of route and current trail conditions. No passes required. Bathroom available at trailhead.

Please wear layers of breathable, technical clothing suitable for outdoor aerobic activities for this course's activities.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses; running-specific gaiters recommended
  • Warm mid-weight layer (e.g. down vest or wool long sleeve)
