Learn and practice trail running skills at a local frontcountry trail. Focus: navigating pre-set route.

  • Elevation Gain: 1,700 ft

Meet at the  Mt Squak May Valley Trailhead Parking lot - Discover pass required - at 8AM. 

This session focuses on skill-building: reading and navigating  a pre-set route. 

You will be asked to navigate on the run, using this mapped route, to stay on course in a place that has many crossing trails.  

A suggested gear list will be provided at the classroom session.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses, gaiters are recommended.
  • Trail running shoes
  • A small day pack 
  • Bring snacks and water.
