Intro to Frontcountry Trail Running - Mima Falls

Learn and practice trail running skills at a local frontcountry trail.

  • High Point Elevation: 700 ft

We will meet at  the lower Mima Falls trailhead parking lot at 6:45 am.  The plan is to be on the trail no later than 7 am.

This session focuses on skill-building. A suggested gear list will be provided at the classroom session.

Note to trip leaders: because this is DNR land and a permit is required, you cannot change the date of this field trip. You're welcome to change the location to another route that isn't DNR land if you need to change the date.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses, gaiters are recommended.
  • Trail running shoes
  • A small day pack 
  • Bring snacks and water.
