Join our heart-healthy stairs workout to build cardio and quad strength for trail running and hiking hills! This is a friendly, supportive group workout on the Forbes Creek Stairs in Kirkland. All fitness levels welcomed! Rain or shine. For participants in the Intro to Frontcountry Trail Running and Intro to Trail Running Racing courses.

Meet at 6:00PM at the small parking area at the bottom of the stairs on the intersection of Forbes Creek Dr. and 108th Ave NE in Kirkland. Details will be sent prior to the event.

Stair climbing is one of the most efficient activities for improving leg strength and cardiovascular fitness. It's a great low-impact way to get your heart rate up in a short amount of time. We'll do some warm-ups together then you're free to do as many repetitions as you wish within 30-45 minutes at your own pace. Wear a weighted pack for a bigger challenge. Headlamps required.
