Bellingham Branch

Bellingham Branch

Just north of Seattle and south of Vancouver, BC, our Bellingham Branch offers a way to connect and explore with people between the mountains and the sea.

about us

The Bellingham Branch provides ways to learn about, explore, and connect with our natural world. Based out of Whatcom County, we offer courses and trips in scrambling, climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, and much more.

Please visit our website BellinghamMountaineers.com for more information. You can also check out our Flickr page and see what our members have been up to.

The Bellingham Mountaineers will help you discover your next great adventure.

Courses

The Bellingham Branch's Basic Climbing Course offers the chance to reach higher peaks and learn some awesome techniques! You might even meet a few cool climbers! Check out the Basic Climbing Course page on our website for the current Schedule and Applications.

Meetings

The Branch Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month and is open to all branch members. If you are interested in attending visit our Events Calender for details. If you would like to be added to our informative mailing list, please send your request to bellinghammountaineers@gmail.com or signup directly with MailChimp.

GET INVOLVED!

Our closest branch to Mt. Baker and Canada, our Bellingham Branch offers a way to connect and explore with people between the mountains and the sea. Under its policy manual,  branch officers serve 2-year terms and are elected at the September Branch Committee meeting. Nominations may be made at any meeting.
