Early this morning, we kicked off the two-day celebration of #GiveBIG and announced a dollar-for-dollar match to help us reach our $30,000 grassroots fundraising goal.

Last week, many of our youngest adventurers went climbing for the very first time, inspiring a love of and connection with our natural environment that will last a lifetime.

For over 115 years, The Mountaineers has helped train outdoor educators so that others may experience the transformative power of the great outdoors. Through those experiences as both teachers and students, our community becomes informed and passionate protectors of our environment, and our lives are enriched with healthy activity for body and mind.
Your support as members, volunteers, and readers has directly influenced our ability to deliver on our mission in new and innovative ways. We are proud to offer online courses, virtual gatherings, and old-fashioned community building through boots-on-the-ground volunteerism.
With your unrestricted support, you contribute to the success of all of our outdoor programs, fuel Mountaineers Books to thrive as a mission-driven publisher, and provide recognition and leadership development for our 3,000 volunteer educators. Your donations also provide need-based scholarships for programs across all seven branches so that no one is left behind when considering their outdoor dreams, and make our conservation and advocacy efforts possible, providing guidance on environmental citizenship to our 14,000-person membership base and beyond.
