Get Your Kids Outside! Youth Programs for Ages 6-9

School is now in full swing, and many are looking for ways to get their kids outside safely while we navigate our new normal. We have good news - there are a few spots left in our Pathfinders (ages 6-7) and Nomads (ages 8-9) youth clubs! Don't miss out on the chance to sign your family up for a year of adventure.

Our youth clubs function year-round to foster outdoor skills development, host trips, and create community. Throughout the year, you will have the chance to see your kids put snowshoes on for the first time, attach to a rope and learn how to rock climb, hike to a stunning alpine lake, and more. Both the Pathfinders and Nomad cohorts cultivate skills in outdoor activities, allowing your child to explore the natural world and to grow their confidence and abilities.

New Member Meeting

The group will be supported by Mountaineers staff, but parents will be expected to play an active role in planning and even leading some trips. To comply with COVID-19 protocols, this year we  divided each cohort into smaller “pods” to keep group size down.
