To register before February 19, please reach out to one of the trip leader(s).   Be prepared with all your 10 essentials for winter travel as the weather is unpredictable in March.

The pace for this trip will be casual, with several breaks for adjusting gear and snacks.  Unless there is recent heavy snowfall, we will be following a well established trail for most if not all of the trip. Depending on the weather conditions and pace of the group, we may turn around at Deer Lake, which is before Sand Lake and will shorten the trip by over a mile.

A more detailed trip itinerary and other requirements will be forwarded to all registered participants as we get closer to the trip.

The route begins just east of the White Pass summit and parking can be found along the north side of Highway 12 near FS Road 498 (marked by the brown Wenatchee National Forest service sign when snow berms are high).   We will park our cars here, unless otherwise instructed in future correspondence.  Recommend being parked by 8:30 AM, to be ready go by 9:00 AM.
