Classic snowshoe trek to Glacier Vista at Mt. Rainier with possible further exploration of the area. PRIORITY TO 2026 OLYMPIA SNOWSHOE STUDENTS UNTIL JANUARY 25TH. Registration will open to everyone on January 26th. DO NOT REGISTER UNTIL YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION.

Leader's notes

A National Park pass is required for each vehicle. Chains must also be carried and used if required by Park personnel. Our trip will be re-scheduled if weather is not friendly. The gate from Longmire to Paradise typically opens at 9:00 daily. If the Paradise gate does not open, we may have another option to snowshoe directly from Longmire. NOTE: Mileage and elevation gain will change if the route changes or if we explore beyond Glacier Vista.
