Despite our best efforts, we may find ourselves in remote situations where we need to safely respond to a person displaying upset, angry, or out-of-control behavior. This virtual session is intended to provide an introductory-level approach to assisting a person in crisis, de-escalating unsafe behavior, and using a trauma-informed lens to navigating a crisis in a remote environment.
This virtual workshop is designed to complement “Remote Crisis Communication.” While neither is a prerequisite to the other, participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
Seminar Notes
This presentation will encourage attendees to participate via meeting chat, opportunities for Q&A throughout, and at least one breakout session.
