Great leaders do more than teach skills—they inspire growth. This session gives you simple, effective tools to build trust, boost motivation, and help others improve. Learn how to:
- Recognize readiness for change by listening for key signals
- Encourage lasting progress with identity-based habits
- Give appropriate feedback using HIP, CORE, or critique sandwich methods
Whether you're involved with hikes, climbs, or paddles, these strategies will help you lead with greater confidence and strengthen the Mountaineers' leadership community. Take your leadership to the next level.
Seminar Notes
This presentation will encourage attendees to speak up throughout the presentation and be interactive with prompting discussion questions interspersed within lecture segments. Breakout rooms may be used.
