Fitness for Hiking and Backpacking - Online Classroom

A Zoom session to help you get in shape at home for Hiking & Backpacking! This is an overview of basic fitness resources that are available to help you get ready for the hiking and backpacking season. Adding strength training to your fitness regime will help keep you moving down the trails with confidence.

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

The Zoom session will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  A link to the Zoom session will be sent to the participants once registration closes. 

Using Zoom, we will review in more detail the fitness resources for the Tacoma Conditioning Hiking Series.  We will also look at other resources offered through the Mountaineers and elsewhere to help you develop a fitness plan.
