Pace will be under 2mph. Everyone hikes uphill at their own pace and with the uphill frontloaded on this hike, it can become very easy to be separated. I figure, you signed up for a summer hiking series, so lets hike as much of it together as possible.

A gem nestled in the 410 corridor, we will meet in Enumclaw at 8am to consolidate vehicles and then find a spot in the very small trailhead area. The hike will get the heart pumping very quickly and we will have our lunch at one of the best viewpoints of Mt Rainier in the area.

A stop on the way back at Wapiti for milk shakes and we're done!
