Are you looking for your next outstanding backpacking adventure? Look no further than Eastern Oregon's Eagle Cap Wilderness!
From the same crew that presented Walking the Wild's second evening event featuring the John Muir Trail, Daniel Zilcsak is back for this 13th Walking the Wild event, to present photos and storytelling from their backpacking adventure in the Eagle Cap: rugged 9.5k peaks, beautiful creeks and meadows, alpine trails, a ton of clear lakes, lots of opportunity for base camp side-trips and scrambles, no permits, and great weather. Find route ideas for an entire week or just a few days, secrets shared by locals, logistics, backcountry stories and gear guidance, or just enjoy the photos and video accompanying this presentation.
SCHEDULE:
- 6:30PM - doors open! Enjoy snacks and beverages and conversation with fellow adventurers!
- 7:00PM - Presentation starts
- 8:30PM - Presentation ends, Q&A
