Join The Mountaineers in welcoming famed snowboarder Jeremy Jones as he presents his new book  The Art of Shralpinism: Lessons from the Mountains.

Based in part on the hundreds of journals Jeremy has kept over the years and featuring wisdom from his friends and mentors, The Art of Shralpinism takes an experiential approach to contemplating mountains, snow, and adventure. Through art, poetry, and journal extracts, Jeremy traces his development from racer and extreme snowboarding film star to deep backcountry explorer and climate activist. In The Art of Shralpinism, Jones reveals the life-changing power of time in the mountains, the value of stoke, and how beauty and openness underscore all outdoor adventures.

Jeremy will be in conversation with Seattle Times outdoors reporter Gregory Scruggs. Books will be available for purchase, and a book signing with Jeremy will follow the talk.

Join The Mountaineers on November 10 for this special event.
