Tony Hofeling, Jeff Englehardt and Ken Garrison will treat you to a photographic journey of a remote arctic, mountain range centered around jagged, dramatic Mount Tombstone. This territorial park, a favorite for hikers and photographers called “Ddhäl Ch'èl Cha Nän” by First Nations people means "ragged mountain land” offers stunning arctic tundra landscapes and wildlife and access to hikers. The concentration of wide ecological niches has resulted in a diverse collection of flora and fauna uncommon at this latitude. The presentation will include photography and information on how to plan a 3 - 5 day backpack trip into the the remote Tombstone Territorial Park, located in Canada's Yukon Territory, the Tombstone Territorial Park. The talk will cover travel to the Yukon territory, permits, and camping & hiking regulations and bear safety. A ticket is required to receive the zoom link to join or to get in at the door. Free tickets are available, but if you appreciate having these informative and fun events with your community and want to support our future investments in our Mountaineers volunteer leaders we'd love it if you would purchase a $10 or $20 ticket!
