Fall Conservation Policy Update & Advocacy Workshop

Fall Conservation Policy Update & Advocacy Workshop

Join our conservation team online on Nov 20 for the next opportunity to hear updates on our federal policy priorities, how The Mountaineers and our partners are advocating for the outdoors, and connect with other advocates around current action opportunities.
181 ( 200 capacity)

Looking to deepen your awareness and engagement in outdoor advocacy and translate your Advocacy 101 skills in action for the places and experiences you love?

Join us online the evening of Wednesday, November 20 to hear how best to share your passion for the outdoors with your elected officials to advance important outdoor policies across the finish line before the end of the year.

The Mountaineers conservation team will share the latest conservation and recreation policy and advocacy updates, including where The Mountaineers policy priorities currently stand in Congress after our fall trip to D.C. and how the results of the November 5 general election will influence advocacy opportunities the rest of the year.

Mountaineers leader and advocate Danielle Graham will join and share about her experience - and what she’s learned - in the Outdoor Alliance’s Grasstops Collective training program. We’ll also create space to discuss and workshop current action opportunities.

RSVP to attend our 60-minute virtual event to connect with staff and other conservation-minded Mountaineers and get ready to speak up for our lands and waters. Registrants will receive a Zoom meeting link on the day of the event.
