Join well-known Washington climber and writer Blake Herrington for an evening celebrating the rugged beauty and vertical challenges of the Cascades. Blake will be presenting the new expanded edition of his self-published guide, Cascades Rock.

Building on the success of the first edition, this new volume is the result of years of meticulous research, field testing, and collaboration with the regional climbing community. The updated guide now covers approximately 200 multipitch, backcountry, and alpine climbs, spanning the entire range from Snoqualmie Pass to southern British Columbia.

What’s New in This Edition:

  • Includes everything from accessible scrambles to long, difficult rock climbs on remote peaks and hidden walls.
  • A focus on new or overlooked routes that have never before appeared in print. Featuring never-before-published topos and high-resolution photos across 300 full-color pages.
  • Deep dives into the history of the range, featuring interviews with regionally prominent and influential climbers from the 1970s to the present day.

Whether you are looking for your next summer project, seeking to escape the crowds on "obscure classics," or simply want to hear stories from the legendary figures of Northwest climbing, this presentation will provide the beta and inspiration you need for your next adventure.

Books will be available for purchase and signing following the presentation.
