The “Newfoundland T’Railway” is a nearly 550 mile route that crosses the scenic open country of Newfoundland from east to west along an unpaved railbed. The spark for this adventure came from an episode of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. Bourdain described Newfoundland as “still, if not part unknown, then certainly a part underappreciated,” and those words stirred in Philip a desire to experience its rugged landscapes and rich culture for himself. The route takes you through a stunning mix of often damp, open, and expansive terrain, as well as vibrant urban cities, on the journey between Channel-Port aux Basques and St. John’s.
Doors open at 6:30 pm for social hour and brews and NA beverages. The presentation begins at 7 pm.
