Second Ascent, The Mountaineers and Salewa have partnered up to present Melissa Arnot on January 9th at the Mountaineers Program Center.

As one of the most accomplished women in mountaineering, Melissa will present her inspiring story of living her adventures around the globe. From her small town upbringing in Montana to living in the back of her truck and pursuing a successful career as a mountain guide. Melissa will tell stories from Everest, Makalu and her recently completed first ascents in Nepal, as well as stories from the mountain that she loves the most, Mount Rainier.

Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. Come early and grab a beer from our no-host bar sponsored by our friends at Georgetown Brewing.

Additionally, Second Ascent will be donating its revenues from the evening to her non-profit, the Juniper Fund - "Providing Assistance to Individuals, families and communities in underserved countries adversely impacted by their work for the mountain-based adventure industry."
