Students view several navigation videos and take an auto-correcting quiz to prepare for the workshop. Map and compass work with Green Trails Mt Si 206S and an outdoor compass session precede instruction and practice with GaiaGPS to prepare for the Field Trip. Allow ~3 hours for the before class work.
Meet shortly before 6pm in the Summit Room (upstairs) at the Seattle Program Center.

Enter via the Main Entrance at the traffic light and follow the signs second right, first right and T-junction right to the Program Center. Parking in front of and just south of the building (near the south climbing wall.) Free.
