CHS 2 Hike - Grand Prospect
We'll hike up Rattlesnake Mountain starting from the Snoqualmie Point Trailhead first reaching Stan's Overlook and then Grand Prospect. CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph). The trailhead is in the Snoqualmie/North Bend area so within easy reach of Seattle with an optional group meal to follow, making for a relatively low time commitment for this April conditioning hike.

This is an out and back hike starting from the Snoqualmie Point Trailhead. We'll stop at Stan's Overlook on the way up then turn around at Grand Prospect. This WTA trail description has additional information about the hike.
There is a chance that traction (micro spikes or yak tracks) and poles will be needed depending on snow conditions. Check current weather here: NWS link.
Meet at 7:30 am at Tibbets P&R to carpool to the trailhead, depart at 7:45. We will carpool to Snoqualmie Point/Rattlesnake Parking Lot, Discover Pass Required.
Directions to trailhead: From I-90 eastbound, take Exit 27 and turn right on Winery Road. Go just under a half mile and turn right into the Snoqualmie Point Park and the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail parking lot. Park in the upper parking lot.
