This trail combines the Interurban Trail, the Lost Lake Trail, Ridge Trail, and Dan's Traverse Trail. While most of the hike is mellow, there's a fairly steep incline up to the ridgeline, with switchbacks to help. The views are incredible. You'll see Mount Baker to the east, the Coast Mountains in Canada to the north, and Bellingham Bay to the west.
I like to lead at a steady CHS 2 pace, while allowing for enough breaks and photo opportunities.
Luckily there are plenty of good breweries serving up a tasty post-hike lunch and brew in the Fairhaven area for afterwards. Details will be in the Hello Hiker email.

Carpool option: Meet at 7:15am at the Ash Way Park and Ride just off I-5 in Lynnwood. It is about a 70 mile drive from there to the trailhead.
