Meeting time: 9:00 AM at the trailhead for the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail To get there, go east on I-90 to Exit 27. Turn right at the end of the exit and follow the road to a right turn shortly before reaching Snoqualmie Point Park. A Discover Pass is required.
The trail grade rises fairly uniformly at about 550 ft/mile for the 2 miles up to the Overlook. Only a small section (less than 3%) is shared with Mountain bikers. When hiked the fourth week of March, the trail tread was in good shape overall with an occasional tree root protruding and a few mud spots, but no significant mudholes. There is a privy at the trailhead, but it was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions in place at that time.
