CHS 1 Hike - Icicle Ridge

This hike offers lush green forest with maples, Ponderosa pines and understory wildflowers, sunny open areas teeming with wildflowers as well as stunning views of the Wenatchee and Icicle rivers, the Tumwater canyon, Leavenworth, and surrounding rugged mountains. CHS hike led at a CHS 1 pace (1.5-2.0 mph).

Leave the Tibbetts Valley Park P&R, opposite the Issaquah Transit Center, at 6:30 am for optional carpooling or be ready for introductions and hiking at the trailhead at 9:10 am.  It is approximately 2 hours, 10 minutes from the P&R to the trailhead.

The trail ascends form the parking lot at a fairly constant 600 ft/mile. Typical temperature at 9 am in mid-May is low 50s and at noon is high 50's.
