Two day seminar on friction slab climbing techniques. Designed for Intermediate or Crag students but suitable for Basic grads wanting to improve rock skills. First day will be top-roped and part of it in mountain boots. Second day will be all in rock shoes and will offer opportunities to lead on bolted slabs. Required Equipment
10 essentials
Harness, helmet, a few slings and 'biners, quick draws if you have them. Both mountaineering boots and rock shoes. Clothing that can be abraded (maybe not your $400 Gore-Tex). Lunch and water (we'll be away from the cars all day both days).
