Climbing Movement and Fitness - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

This seminar is for climbers wanting to take it to the next level! We will cover efficient climbing technique, drills to improve your ability, and fitness and nutrition. Mercedes Pollmeier, fitness coach at the Seattle Bouldering Project and author of Simple Strength, will be leading the session and sharing her wealth of experience.

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

This seminar is intended for climbers who want to improve their overall movement technique. This seminar will focus on developing controlled footwork, emphasizing intentional decision making for each footwork technique so that your movements will be more efficient.

This session will be interactive and hands-on. Bring your climbing harness, helmet, and belay device.

We will be getting on the climbing wall to try and apply different footwork techniques that will help
elevate your climbing ability to the next level.

7:00 pm in Goodman C at the Seattle Program Center. Clinic should be roughly 2 hours.
