We will hike up at your own pace, but we will travel together as a group coming back down. The primary goal for the hike is to get a check on fitness and set expectations for the minimum fitness requirements for successful trips with the Basic Alpine Course.

In addition to your 10 Essentials, you'll need microspikes, along with a headlamp and extra batteries.   Weighted packs and mountaineering boots are optional, but a good idea to help you gauge your fitness and break in your boots.
