Climbing Conditioner - Mount Si Main Trail

Conditioning hike open to climbing /scramble members of all branches

Pack weight and mountaineering boots are optional. Dress as appropriate for the weather.

Meet at the trailhead at 10:15am and be ready to go at 10:30am.  We will hike up at your own pace, but we will travel together as a group coming back down on Mt Si Main Trail.

The primary goal for the hike is to get a check on fitness and set expectations for the minimum fitness requirements for successful trips with the Basic Alpine Course. Can be used as a fitness test, if not done so already. Please check with your SIG leader

In addition to your 10 Essentials, you'll need microspikes, along with a headlamp and extra batteries.   Weighted packs and mountaineering boots are optional, but a good idea to help you gauge your fitness and break in your boots.
