This is intended to be a conditioner hike for climbing and scrambling course students and graduates - ideally folks who are familiar with the trail or comfortable navigating on it. If you aren't sure whether this trip is right for you, PLEASE feel free to email me.

I do not expect us to necessarily hike all in one group the whole way and I'm okay with spreading out due to pace on the way up - if you aren't comfortable with that on this trail, you can hike with me if the pace works. I want us to hike down together so we can be sure we all get down okay.

Each participant should carry as much weight as they want for the workout they want. I plan to choose a pack weight and pace that should get me to the top in about 2:10. If you want to go faster, that's encouraged, but please bring warm layers to wait at the top of the trail/bottom of the rocks. If you want to go much slower, we may catch you on the way down and turn you around. I don't expect we will spend a ton of time hanging out at the top of the trail unless the weather is uncharacteristically good.

I will go ahead with the trip if there's precipitation, but might cancel if winds are very high.

Meet at 7:30 AM at the Old Si/Little Si trailhead, hiking at 7:45: https://maps.app.goo.gl/KsANfg9VpHSGqLKx6

If the trailhead is full, there's an overflow lot a quarter mile or so to the west, with a trail connector over.

Note that daylight savings time is happening and this is an hour off from what your body might expect!
