Conditioning hike & gear discussion for (MC)² SIG, alumni, and friends. Other climbers and scramblers are welcome to join if there is space available.

Pack weight and mountaineering boots are optional. Dress as appropriate for the weather as this hike will go regardless of the conditions.

Carpools can be arranged in the days before the trip.

The primary goal of the hike is to establish a baseline for fitness and set expectations for the minimum fitness requirements for successful trips with the Basic Alpine Course.
