Spend the day sending the gnar at a nearby crag, and honing your skills with experienced instructors by your side.
Meeting time and place TBD, but this will likely take place from 9-5 so prepare to be out all day.
Required Equipment
Harness
Helmet
Rock Shoes
Tube style belay device w/ Locking carabiner
Chain style personal anchor w/ locking carabiner (ex. Metolious PA system)
Cordelette
4 additional locking carabiners
9-12 quickdraws
hero loop/autoblock
Backpack to hold it all (Preferably 20L)
Everything you would bring on a day hike (ex. water, food, layers, headlamp, good walkin shoes)
Recommended/optional:
Grigri or other assisted braking belay device
personal rope (Ropes will be supplied)
Chalk
snacks for your instructors :)
Guide book for whichever crag we choose (instructors will have at least one)
