Meet at 5:45 pm at Cross Town Trail by Beit Tikvah Synagogue at 7935 136th Ave SE in Newcastle. Parking on street - no passes needed. Following introductions, description of route and current trail conditions, plan to start hiking a few minutes after 5:45 pm. There are no public bathrooms at the trail head or anywhere on the route.
We'll stick together as a group at about ~2.5 mph uphill until we get to the De Leo Wall Lookout, stop for a min, then tally ho until we cut back and end up at the water tower. After taking a quick break, we'll head down the Terrace Trail to 144th Place SE, then take back roads to where we started. The trail is mostly narrow, so single file.
