In this lecture we will go over trip planning and logistics using the final field trip as an example.  We'll review our own field trip logistics in detail, where, when, how far, how long, etc. And we'll provide some introduction to the tools and techniques you can use to choose routes and create or plan your own trips.

We'll also cover how to match yourself to a trip based on ride classifications and ratings, matching yourself and your bike to various surface types, terrain, distance, elevation gain, weather, food and water sources, etc.

NOTE: An E-Bike is not allowed in this course.

Doors open at 6.30pm with a brief welcome presentation and introductions. We aim to finish no later than 8.30pm. We will meet at the Seattle Program Center. Room will be announced in the Hello Biker email, and watch for a sign and/or the TV screen in the lobby.
