The Olympia Branch will hold its annual Awards Gathering on Saturday, October 15, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, to honor 2022 course graduates and award pins, patches, and service awards. There will be light refreshments, but no banquet this year. Our speaker for the evening will be Mike Endres, a guidebook writer, adventurer, and photographer. He'll talk about traveling from Colorado to Alaska with climbs along the way at Veedawous (WY) and the Bugaboos and Mt Logan in Canada along with information for people thinking of taking an overland trip to Alaska. The cost for the evening is $20.
