Always wanted to backpack in North Cascades National Park but concerned about navigating the permit lottery? Want to learn tips and tricks for planning overnight and multiday backpacking trips? This seminar is for you!
The Olympia Hiking & Backpacking Committee is sponsoring a Backpacking Trip Planning and Permits online seminar. Participants will learn how to plan a trip, and how to obtain permits for this trip should they be required. Participants in this seminar who register for the 2026 Olympia Essentials of Backpacking Course will receive a $25 discount on that course.
Required Equipment
The seminar will take place on Zoom from 6-8 PM. Participants will receive the Zoom link and information after registration closes, a couple of days before the seminar.
